L'EUROPE ICI ET MAINTENANT

ÅÂÐÎÏÀ ÒÓÊ È ÑÅÃÀ

EUROPE HERE AND NOW

This is an initiative of the French Institute in Sofia implemented in partnership with:

--- BECSA,

--- The Red House,

--- Radio France Internationale, and

--- the Centre for Liberal Strategies.

It envisages holding monthly open lectures of eminent French public figures - academics, intellectuals, experts, politicians, etc. with the aim of becoming a platform for dialogue between France and Bulgaria in the context of both countries' common European destiny. The lectures are followed by a comment made by a Bulgarian discussant and an open debate. All lectures are held in the Red House. They are provided with a simultaneous interpretation French-Bulgarian, and are recorded on video (the actual event) and audio (the interpretation of the debate into Bulgarian). Excerpts of these discussions are broadcast in the weekly programme of Radio France Internationale.
